i was in that crowd, her performance was amazing naturally. but her set was much too short. three. after pushing, shoving and having to listen to other acts that most in the crowd cared less about, she had three songs… we even booed the other acts, and chanted “BoA! BoA!” every second we could get. Never the less, she was amazing.

Shortly after BoA’s performance at the 2009 Gay Pride Festival in San Francisco, California, she was met with controversy back in her homeland of South Korea. The issues of the LGBT community are considered taboo in many parts of Asia, but despite this, BoA herself has stated that her love for her fans knows no bounds, regardless of race, gender, age, or sexual orientation, even yelling “Gay Pride Rocks!” after her performance.
